Veroeska has really created some beauties. First up is a sparkly glitter topper called “Fairytale Love”, which is chock full of shiny lilac, teal, ocean blue, and pale blue glitters, just to name a few. Shown here is one generous coat. This glitter combination really does seem like a fairytale! I love toppers with combinations of matte and shiny glitter, and this one definitely hits the mark. I imagine this pairs well with all kinds of blue and purple, and over black and white. Think Disney opening scene, where the stars shot over the castle in a sparkly arc. That’s what this polish makes me think of!

Next up is another fun glitter topper called “Girls Night Out”. I really love this one. It’s like a really fun mix of pinks, oranges, teal-greens, and purples – shiny and matte alike! I paired one coat here with a fun pink by OPI, but this topper would work well with any of the colours that are in it, for sure. This one gets a little more coverage than “Fairytale Love”, and there’s a few more matte glitters as well. Both are solid toppers that work well with just one coat, and they dry smoothly with a coat of topcoat.

Macros? Yessss. Macros.

It’s time for some serious sparkle – next up is “Star Dust”, a glitter bomb chock full of gold and gold holographic glitters in all shapes and sizes. We’re talking hexes, squares, microglitters, you name it! This one has a bit more coverage than the last two, just because of the tiny gold microglitters. I put on one coat, and sponged some of this polish on too to try and elicit a Starry Night sort of feeling over the navy blue. Did it work? I’m satisfied with it. πŸ™‚ I think the name for this polish is really accurate, because the gold, sparkly, holographic goodness really does remind me of a sparkling night sky.

I saved my favourite for last. This sparkly amazingness is called “Kiss in the Dark”, and it’s a holographic microglitter polish that is just absolutely stunning. This glitter is a full coverage glitter – shown is three coats. I have also tried sponging this one on and it works wonderfully for even more coverage, if that’s what you’re looking for! Just make sure you smooth it out with topcoat. Scroll down for macros for this beauty – you’ll be blown away. If taking off glitter polishes are a struggle for you, try a peel-off basecoat, or one of those nailpolish remover tins that have the scrubby brushes in them. They work well too.

Overall, I was quite impressed with Paint it Pretty, especially as a new indie brand. The formulas are quite nice, they dry quickly, and I appreciate the love of glitter that Veroeska has (because I have it too). Check them out if you’re looking to explore (and support) a new indie brand!

I hope you guys liked this little review!

Happy painting.
